Deeper Thoughts

"The Lord's message rang out from [Thessalonica until their] faith in God has become know everywhere" (1 Thessalonians 1:8). Think about the people who "rang out" the gospel so you could become a believer and how you can ring, as well.

1. How far back can you trace your family's faith in Jesus? Was it your great grandparents who came to faith and then passed that on to the next generations? Your parents? You? Who witnessed to them so they became Christians?
2. Over the years of your life, with whom have you shared your faith? Who among your family and friends is not a Christian and when/where might your share your faith with them?
3. How does appreciating that "God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ" (1 Thessalonians 5:9) help you to want to share your faith with others?
