Who Are You?

READ: John 7:40-43
Do people know who you really are? Can everyone tell what you're really about? Take a minute to stop and think what you may be telling everyone by your actions. Just cheating that one time, or taking that couple of dollars, or drinking that one beer - doing it that one time isn't going to matter, is it? Do these things show others what you are all about? Not only is it a sin for us to do these thin gs, but as other people see us, supposedly Christian people, do these things; do they wonder exactly what it means to be a Christian?
In John 7:40-43 we see that there were people who doubted that Jesus was really the Christ, "...the people were divided because of Jesus. " The people weren't sure of who Jesus was, and our mission here on earth is to tell others of his wonderful love and gift of salvation for all people so that there will be no doubts. When we live in the ways of the world, we aren't effectively doing the work we should as Christians. One of the best witnesses is a passive witness, something that can be seen by how a Christian lives.
May God grant you strength to live for him, that through him, you might be a true witness to let others know of his love.
THINGS TO THINK ABOUT: What message do you send by your actions? How can others see God's love in your life? What steps do you need to take to make yourself more of a witness for your Savior?
PRAYER SUGGESTIONS: Dear God, help me to be a witness for you through my acitons. Help all those who do not yet know of Your love to come to faith. Thank you for allowing me to be your precious child and for sending Your son to be the ultimate witness.
