Lifesavers

READ: Psalm 91:11-12
Do you remember when you were little and first learning how to swim? Did you use floaties or a little life preserver to help you swim? Without that life preserver, you would've been hopeless and would have had nothing to hold you up above the water. You would've drowned.
We are surrounded by a very tough world. However, God tells us not to be afraid because he is with us wherever we go. "For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways." They are sent by Jesus to guide and protect us in our lives, according to his good will. We can always lay all of our troubles on Jesus, and we can find rest in him. We should always trust in him above all things. He's our refuge and strength, our rock, and our fortress. There is no greater friend to have than our Savior, Jesus. We can call on him anytime that we want, and he always hears us. He's with us throughout our life on earth. Jesus has given us the greatest gift of all. He lived a perfect life and died an innocent death for us, just so that we could have salvation. Because of him, we have an eternal home in heaven.
There is no greater comfort than knowing that we're shielded by the Almighty One. Jesus holds us up and makes us strong in every aspect of our lives. He's the ultimate life preserver and with him and because of him, we can easily swim into eternal life in heaven.
THINGS TO THINK ABOUT: Where can we go when we need help in our lives? How can we know that God is always with us in our lives?
PRAYER SUGGESTIONS: Thank Jesus that he is always there right beside us. Help all to find faith in the greatest of all friends, our Savior, Jesus.
