It's God's Will

READ: John 3:16
My godfather, Mike, was a father of five with the youngest kids being twins. Right after the twins were born, Mike found out he had liver cancer. He was told he had six months to live. Since he was my godfather, he was also a very good friend. He was one of those biker guys who owned a Harley and wore the leather jacket—the whole deal.
Mike would come by our house and take me for rides on his motorcycle when I was little. Also, I’d baby sit for his children every now and then. We became really close.
In August of the same year he was diagnosed, Mike died. It was the first time someone close to me had died. Right after he died, I went to God and asked Him why He would take someone as cool as Mike - father of five, youngest of the five being only about five months old. The twins would never know what a great guy Mike was.
I could only come up with one conclusion, “It’s God’s will.” I thought of the one Bible passage we all know, John 3:16. God loves us so much that He has given His one and only Son to die for us, to have been whipped and have nails put through his hands and feet.
The next time something is bothering you or you have a problem, take it to God. Just come up with one conclusion: IT IS ACCORDING TO GOD’S GOOD WILL.
THINGS TO THINK ABOUT: Why do people blame God when bad things happen?
PRAYER SUGGESTIONS: Pray for everyone to appreciate the blessed life that God has planned for them - no matter what temporary hardships may come.
