Our Loving Father
READ: Isaiah 63:7-9
God has done many kind things for us. He gave us our life and all that we own. He gave us our home and a family that loves us very much. He does these things because He loves us and because we are His children.
We should praise our Lord for all of the things He has done for us. He does them out of compassion and love and a lot of the time we don’t appreciate them at all. He should be praised for all of these things. Consider how blessed we are to have a God who is so generous.
The most important and wonderful thing our Lord has done for us was sending His Son to die for us on the cross. He gave His own life for the sins of all people. Because He forgave all of our sins, we too should do good to others and forgive their sins as well.
All of these things God did because we are His own. He feels for us. When we are happy, He’s happy for us. We can always turn to Him for help or if we need someone to talk to. He will always be there for us and He will never leave us.
How blessed we are to have such a good and gracious God.
THINGS TO THINK ABOUT: Do I truly thank God for all of the things He does for me? How can I help others to see all of the good things He does? I know I don’t thank and praise Him enough for all He has done, so how can I improve that?
PRAYER SUGGESTIONS: Thank God for everything He has done for us. Ask for help in thanking God for all He has done. Ask for help to help others realize all of the things He has done.
