Witnessing
READ: Romans 1:1-7
What do you do when people or your friends start to talk to you about religion? Do you try to talk about something else, or do you walk away because you don’t know what to say or what to do? Well, our Lord Jesus has called us to witness.
Why should we witness and to whom should we witness? We should witness because we should want to, not because we think we have to! We should witness to everyone and anyone who we think does not know God.
Because Christ has called us to witness, this gives us great chance to help people in need. We shouldn’t feel that we have to, but want to. We can save lives with the message that we can spread. Look at all of the things that God has done for us and others. We should want to thank Him with this little act of faith!
Witnessing should be fun, not a chore. If we put our hearts into it, it can be fun. Don’t be afraid to say something about what you believe in. Christ didn’t. Have fun with it and do it with pride.
Jesus told us and we should follow Him in what He says when He states, “You are my witnesses.” We should do it for Him and help others because He would do the same thing for us. Witness for those who do not know Christ so that we can see them in heaven.
