The Ultimate Stress Reliever
READ: Romans 8: 31-39
Do you have any trouble happening in your life? Let’s face it; life is just one big ball of troubles and problems. These problems and troubles just get us down and make us feel like we’ll never get out of them, but it says in Romans 8:31, “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present not the future, not any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
How can we even begin to feel bad or beaten down by life’s troubles when we hear that absolutely nothing can stop God’s love for us and that He will always be making things right for those that love Him? God will always be here for us, comforting us, and helping us through our lives, as it says in Matthew 11:28, “Come unto me, all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest.” He not only gives us rest from our physical burdens, but also from our mental and spiritual burdens.
Our fight against Satan and this world is a difficult fight and Christ is our valiant leader who gives us rest and gets us ready to go back and win this battle. Nothing can stand against us, for Christ is with us.
THINGS TO THINK ABOUT: Why should I go to my God first instead of to earthly friends? Which enemies are confronting me in my faith/life today? How should I fight them?
PRAYER SUGGESTIONS: Take your cares and problems to Him. Thank Him for being the greatest listener. Thank God for the assurance of victory now and forever.
