Forgiveness of Sins
READ: Proverbs 16:6
Forgiveness of sins is a very important and special part of a Christian’s life. Even though we try our best not to sin, we still do because of our sinful flesh. But, asking for forgiveness of our sins is a blessing which God gave to us all by sending His Son, Jesus, to live a perfect life and die on the cross for the sins of the world.
When you sin, you should not be afraid to come to God and ask for forgiveness. God forgives all sins, no matter how great they are. In this text, God says that we are forgiven when we ask and show our love and faithfulness to God. Also, believers who believe in God and know how powerful He is fear Him. By this, man avoids evil in the sinful world.
In summary, your God is a jealous and loving God, wanting all people to repent and be saved. We can see how much He loves us by showing us how simple it is to repent. If God had not send His Son to die for us, we would not be able to repent and would be sentenced to damnation.
So, when you sin, repent; for it is a precious gift God gave us!
