There Is No Fear
READ: 1 John 4:18
Fear - it is amazing how much fear there is in this world. Fear can range from the terror of a life-threatening situation to just the worry over a little thing in life.
Christians know that fear does not have to be a part of our lives. We know this because of the grace and mercy of our loving God. Through His love, fear is driven away. However, there are times when our Old Adam gets the better of us and we forget the message of God's love.
It is good to look at some of the fears which are faced in life and to see how God's love has affected those fears.
One of the most common fears we face is "fear of death." God's love reminds us that death has been conquered. Jesus conquered death through His resurrection from death. The message of God's love drives out the fear of death.
Fear has been conquered. Jesus conquered it. Knowing that, what is there to fear?
