Never Ending Trouble

READ: Job 7:1-7
Marianne was stressed out about school. She had so much to do and such little time to do it. She had two tests to study for, plus a game to cheer for in the same night. She had just gotten into a huge fight with her best friend, and they were on non-speaking terms. On top of all that, Marianne had just received a "D" on her history report that she had worked so hard on. She sat in Algebra class counting the minutes until 3:15, when the bell would finally ring. How she longed for her worries and troubles to end, so that she could just enjoy school and have fun with her friends.
Do you ever feel the way Marianne felt? Do you ever wonder when the bad days will end and the good days will come? Job also felt this way. He would lie awake at night longing for the day to come. He could not sleep because his sores were so painful. He thought that he would never be happy again.
"All things work for the good of those who love God." If things seem tough right now, try to look for the good in every situation. Take the lemons of your life and make lemonade!
We all know how the story of Job ends. The Lord takes away his pain and suffering and showers him with blessings. Remember this story of Job the next time you feel stressed out or hopeless about life. God is always with you. He will never forsake you.
THINGS TO THINK ABOUT: Why does God send troubles into our lives? How should we deal with them?
PRAYER SUGGESTIONS: Ask God to help you with all your troubles. Pray for Him to give you a stronger faith to help you through your times of trouble. Thank God for being our friend at all times.
