READ: Ezekiel 34:11-16

Have you ever thought God has forgotten about you?  Did you think, “I’m not important, why should He care about me?”  Most people have thought this way at some point.  Maybe you think you’re not good at anything, or that you don’t have any talents at all.

Well, in Ezekiel 34:11, the Lord says, “I myself will search for my sheep and look after them.”  This is very comforting.  God says He will look after us. He never forgets about us.

Life can be very depressing at times.  Maybe your parents got a divorce, a loved one died, you were betrayed by a friend, or things just aren't going well at school.  You wonder when you will ever be content again.  If you feel this way now, take comfort in Ezekiel 34:16, where God says, “I will bind up the injured and strengthen the weak.”

So, the next time you think God doesn’t care, remember, YOU are His child.  He will never leave you or forsake you, and works all things for your good.

THINGS TO THINK ABOUT:  Why did you ever think God forgot about you?  What did you do when you felt this way?  If you feel this way now, why?

PRAYER SUGGESTIONS:  Ask God for a stronger faith.  Ask for forgiveness for not trusting Him.  Thank God for caring about you.
