Who Is There for You?

READ: 1 Peter 5:6-11
Do you ever feel that no one cares about you? Do you feel that there is absolutely no one in the world that you can talk to about your problems? Probably most, if not all of us, have felt this way at one time or another. So when you feel that the situation is totally hopeless, who can you go to?
God has made a promise to us in His Word: that we can always come to Him with our problems. In 1 Peter 5:7, He says, “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” We can trust this promise and be sure that God will always be there for us.
We never have to be afraid that God will leave us. He tells us countless times in His Word that He will always be there for us. He has never broken any of His promises before, and He won’t break this one either.
So, the next time you feel that your day, week or even month isn’t going well, take your problems to God. Trust that He will be there for you. He promises to deliver.
THINGS TO THINK ABOUT: When was a time in your life when things weren’t going well? How did you deal with it? How did God keep His promise to always be there for you?
PRAYER SUGGESTIONS: Ask God for help during the tough times in your life. Thank Him for always delivering you from your problems. Thank Him for sending Jesus to save you from your sins.
