Knowledge in Christ and Spiritual Strength

READ: 1 Corinthians 1:4-9
I have been wondering when I go off to college, how campus life will be. Will I meet people of the same faith as me? Will my beliefs be constantly challenged? Will I be able to keep my faith? If I go to a college of a predominately different religion, will I be able to stand up to it?
Then I read the passage from 1 Corinthians 1:8, “He will keep you strong to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Now I know that Jesus will be with me when I have problems confronting other people who are not of my faith. I think that one of the key truths stated here is that no matter how many situations you’ll encounter, God will be with you in every time of need.
I also know from this passage that God will help me witness to people when I am not in a Christian environment. I will be strengthened in His Word and be a disciple for Him and serve His kingdom in any way possible to glorify His name through my actions.
THINGS TO THINK ABOUT: Will I be able to show my faith? What will I do when I’m confronted? Can I witness?
PRAYER SUGGESTIONS: Pray for courage. Pray for strength. Pray for the right words.
