No Fear


READ: Psalm 23
The statement “No Fear” is seen everywhere! It is seen on cars, shirts, hats, and many other things. What does this statement mean? Well, usually it means that we can conquer our fears/opponents. We as Christians can take a new meaning from this popular phrase.
God tells us in His word that he is always with us. In Psalm 23:4, God inspired David to write, “Even though I walk through the valley of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me.” God promises to provide for us everything we need. God even has a place prepared for us in heaven.
With God on our side, we have nothing to be afraid of. So, whenever you see the phrase, “No Fear,” remember the special meaning that has through faith. Because of and through Jesus, was have "No Fear."
THINGS TO THINK ABOUT: Why does God protect us? Why aren’t unbelievers given the same promise of nothing to fear? What things are you afraid of that God can help you conquer?
PRAYER SUGGESTIONS: Pray to God to give you strength to not be afraid. Ask God to forgive you for not trusting Him to protect you and provide you with all your needs. Thank God for leading you through all troubles you encounter.
