Praise the Lord!
READ: Psalm 150
We have many times in our lives when we need the Lord. That is when we come to Him the most. He gets us through everything with His love and understanding. However, there are many times when everything is going fine and we don’t talk to Him as much. It seems as though the only time we pray is when we are in trouble or need something. What we need to learn is to go to the Lord whenever we can.
In Psalm 150, the very first line says, “Praise the Lord.” It doesn’t say when to praise Him or how to praise Him; it just says to do it. In verse two, it tells where to praise Him, “Praise Him in His mighty heavens.” Many people forget that the Lord is always there. He doesn’t leave you just because you aren’t in trouble. In verse six it says, “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.”
We all need to praise the Lord any way we can. After all, why should we stop coming to Him if He never leaves us? Praise the Lord. It is the best advice you can give to anyone.
