My Dad is the Greatest
READ: Psalm 111
Jim was always the “perfect dad” and the “perfect husband.” He took care of his family’s every single need. Nothing he did was selfish; it was always to his family’s best interest.
Like Jim, God is always there for us, taking care of our every need. In Psalm 111:9 it tells us, “He provided redemption for his heavenly people.” Doesn’t that sum up all of our needs? Without redemption we would have no hope of God’s saving grace, and for us to go to our heavenly home. Psalm 111 also tells us we should praise God for He is great. We should praise Him in front of our enemies, in front of our friends, and especially in front of people we don’t know. When they see and hear us, they should know that we have something special.
We should praise our Father in heaven for giving us redemption and for always being there for us.
THINGS TO THINK ABOUT: What should you praise God for that has happened to you lately? What would life be like without the promise of redemption? How can you set the same example as God?
PRAYER SUGGESTIONS: Pray for God to let you realize how He has saved us all. Praise Him for everything. Pray for Him to keep providing for your every need.
