Almost Lost a Friend
READ: Luke 17:11-19
Have you ever had a friend that was in a lot of trouble with an illness that could take his/her life? Well, that has happened to me, and I have prayed asking Jesus to help my friend out by healing his sickness. Just like the one thankful leper that asked Jesus to cleanse them of their disease, my friend, who eventually healed completely, thanked Jesus for all He had done for him.
If Jesus has ever done anything for you or a friend, I hope that you thanked and praised Him, just as that one leper that came back and threw himself down at Jesus’ feet and thanked Him.
THINGS TO THINK ABOUT: What was the last thing Jesus has done for you? How did you thank or praise Him? Do you think that it was accepted by Him?
PRAYER SUGGESTIONS: Thank God for letting us see another day. Ask that we will see many more. Thank Him for everything that He has given to us, especially for dying for us so we can be with Him at the end of time.
