God's Kindness

READ: Ephesians 4:2
Have you ever walked down the hall at school and seen some people picking on some little kid or some little kid drop his books? Well, did you ever stop to help this kid? Did you ever just think how scared or embarrassed that person was especially if it was a freshman?
Well in Ephesians 4:2 it says, “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.” This means that you should not think that you are too good for other people and not help them pick up their books. The part that says to bear with on another in love means to help everyone because you don’t know when you will be in that position. Because of God’s love for us all, He gave His only Son to die for all of our sins just so that we could go to heaven to be with Him.
Don’t you think that we could do something as little as help a freshman pick up his books in the hall or we could go and defend them when someone is picking on them? All you would have to do is tell them to stop.
Be kind to everyone because God was very kind to us by giving us His Son to die for our sins. Show your love to everyone because they are your brothers and sisters in Christ.
THINGS TO THINK ABOUT: What happened when you stopped to help someone in the hall? What have you done lately to be kind to someone? What was their reaction?
PRAYER SUGGESTIONS: Pray for strength to help those that are in need. Thank God for giving His Son. Thank God for someone that helped you in your time of need.
HUMILITY:
Not less than others,
but what I am by God’s grace.
