READ: 1 Corinthians 16:10-11

Most businesses have someone to welcome as you enter their establishments. That person may be a receptionist at the front desk, a host or hostess to seat you, or a friendly clerk to help you find what you need.

Paul was sending Timothy to the congregation in Corinth. He was concerned about the reception his co-worker would receive. He is anxious about the treatment his follow worker in the ministry would get there. He asks the Corinthians to show love.

Our Savior instructs us to love one another. We see the model of love in Him. He gave himself up for us. He was rich, but he became poor so that we might become wealthy spiritually. With our sins forgiven, we are heirs of eternal life. With love, let us welcome the messengers He sends with joy in our hearts and praise on our lips!

THINGS TO THINK ABOUT: Who brings you the messages of God on a regular basis?  How can you express your love, appreciation, and support for them?

PRAYER SUGGESTION: Lord, move me to love as you have loved me. Amen.
