The Vision
Obadiah 1a: The Vision of Obadiah -
How awesome would it be to see a vision from God? What would it be like to be walking along, knowing you’ve got to get home in time to program the DVR or get online to Facebook friends, and suddenly the sky opens up and you see something that no one else can see?
We have something in common with Obadiah’s eyes -- we have a message from God. Ours isn’t one that tore open the sky or interrupted a dream, but it’s one we all have in God’s Word -- the message that Jesus died for our sins. That’s a message even Obadiah could only look forward to, but we actually have.
Maybe Obadiah would ask, how awesome would it be to be you?
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good.
His love endures forever.
