Bullying

Hebrews 13:5-6 “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?"
Has anyone every bullied you? If so, then you know what it feels like to constantly be made fun of and ridiculed. What do you do in times of stress and bullying? Do you eat a lot? Do you go to a guidance counselor? What do you do? In times of need our first and best option should be going to God in prayer? But is that always the case?
God promises in numerous sections of the Bible that he will protect and keep us from all harm. Like in Psalm 116:6 “The LORD protects the simplehearted; when I was in great need, he saved me.” In this passage we find comfort knowing that God will protect us from the smallest dangers in our lives. Also in Hebrews 13:5-6 it says, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?" We find refuge in this passage because it tells us that the Lord will help us and we have no need to be afraid. This is a great passage to look to in times of fear and uncertainty because it tells us that Jesus will never forsake us, so we know that no one can hurt us.
Jesus is our Savior and for that we thank him by giving thanks and offerings every day - whether it be in a job well done, or a gift to our church, or a prayer of thanksgiving. Jesus will protect us from all harm and for that we show love love to him always.
THINGS TO THINK ABOUT: How many times on average do you pray a day? Do you fear when you know you have God on your side? Why do you think God sends troubles into your life?
PRAYER SUGGESTIONS: Pray to God and thanks Him for all that He has given to you. Pray for strength in times of trouble. Ask Him to never leave you.
