Why?

Galatians 4:4-5 - When the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law, to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons.
Little children are always curious about life. They are always asking many questions, such as,” what’s that, what’s going on, who are you?” One inquisitive statement that they are known for is asking the question "why?" Many times when an adult says something, the child's response is “why?”
We are often like little children, asking the question "why?." We are often curious as to why things are happening to us or others around us. For example, “why did my boyfriend or girlfriend dump me? Why did I fail my test? Why am I here?”
The Bible answers a big question that ever sinner asks, "why do I need a Savior?" From the time Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, we were all dead in sin - born that way. God promised Adam, Eve, and all people that he would send a Savior to save them from their sins. God knew all along when that was going to happen. Paul explained that fact when he said, “when the time had fully come, God sent his Son , born of a woman, born under law, to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons" (Galatians 4:4-5). God has sent that Savior! We are free from our sins because Jesus kept the law perfectly; something we could never do, no matter how hard we tried. Now, when people ask you, “Why do I need a Savior?” You can explain everyone's need because of sin, and boldly and confidently tell them the truth that you know and believe in your heart; the promised Savior came as a lowly baby, and suffered and died for ALL sins. By faith in that, there are no more "why's?"
THINGS TO THINK ABOUT: When is a time that you specifically remember asking the question "why?" What is the comforting message during the Christmas and Easter seasons? What ways can you answer others’ questions about Jesus?
PRAYER SUGGESTIONS: Thank God for keeping his promise of sending a Savior. Pray to help others know the loving message of Jesus. Pray to God asking him to help you tell the loving message of what God has done.
