READ: Psalm 121
When we look to the skies for help, we must wonder where we get our help from. However, we as Christians know that Christ the maker of heaven and earth is our helper; one we can look up to and trust in.
Take this for example: One day Tom and Annie went to a party and Annie was kind of scared to go because she knew some people who were going there were doing some drugs. Annie asked Tom if he would stay by her side so she wouldn’t get hurt or lost.
Tom said, “Sure I will, you can trust me.” When they entered the house Tom stayed by her side, but later on said that he would be right back. Annie trusted him to come back soon, but he didn't. She got scared and left.
With God we don’t ever have to worry about Him leaving us, because He is always there, and we can trust in Him. “The Lord will not let your foot slip; he who watches over you will not slumber. The Lord will keep you from all harm, he will watch over your life.”
As God's children through faith, we can look to the heavens and know that God is on our side and He will never fail us even in the worst times of our life.
