The Day Is Coming
READ: Psalm 98:1-9
“The day is coming,” says the Lord. You do not have any idea when or where you will die, but God has set a time and a place for us already. We should use the time we have here on earth to share His Word, as well as to praise Him.
Psalm 98:1&9 “Sing to the Lord a new song, for He has done marvelous things.” God does amazing things for us each and every day. But the greatest thing he has done for us is sent his son, Jesus, to save us from what our sins deserves. And if that is all he ever did for us, that would be worth all the praise in the world!
But he does infinitely more. He daily provides clothing, food, shelter, protection, guidance through His Word, opportunities to share his love with other and be loved by others, and the list could go on and on.
So sing to the Lord while you still have time. Trust in him to bring you safely to his side at the time he has determined. He promises to come for you, and he always keeps his promises!
THINGS TO THINK ABOUT: Are you ready for God to take you home? Do you praise God on a daily basis as you should? Does God bless you as He has promised?
