"It" Is God's Little Child
By Kayla
Children inside a mother’s womb
Aren’t just as worthy as a spoon
They think that they can throw the child away
Just like a useless toy at play
They say they really thought it through
They realize what they think they need to do
They think of this child as just an “it”
But did they ever think of “it” a bit?
They know their life is gong to change
They think about themselves
They got themselves into it
and now they can get out
They know that what they did is wrong
But there conscience asks, “Would they belong?”
But now will they cover their sin up by doing worse
Or maybe they will just sit there and curse
She cries and cries and cries it through
She really does not know what to do
Should she tell her friends?
Or would they say she now doesn’t blend
The right thing that she should do
Is keep the child and think her future through
Many people who aren’t able to conceive
Are waiting for someone to love and receive
Why kill an innocent baby
When this baby could grow up and maybe
Be successful and have friends
And have all sorts of odds and ends
But more importantly…
Why kill God’s little child?
When he or she could grow up wild…
Wild about Jesus Christ
Who died for “it” and gave “it” life
So now when you hear of someone's birth
Thank God for putting that little one on earth.
