2009 Youth Rally Commercial Contest
Tatum, CJ and Nicole invite you to submit an original video commercial - 30 seconds maximum - that promotes the rally theme, Follow the Path, Lead the Way!, and/or the rally theme passage:
1 Timothy 4:12
"Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young,
but set an example for the believers
in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity."
Entries must be submitted by March 1, 2009, and will be posted on the rally Web site with voting conducted online from April 1 - July 1, 2009. Voters will consider 1) technical quality, 2) visual/auditory impact, 3) creativity, 4) involvement of youth group members, 5) effective presentation of rally theme. Cash awards will be given to the congregation youth ministries from which the entries originated. 1st place - $250, 2nd place - $175, 3rd place - $100. Winners will be announced at the rally. ONLY ONE ENTRY PER CONGREGATION.
All entries will remain the exclusive property of WELS Youth Discipleship and will not be returned. Submit your commercial as an .wma or .mov, DVD or mini-DV. E-mail, surface mail, or hand deliver your entry. Each entry/video submission MUST include the official entry form.
